Cross Country

This term we have started training for cross country. This year I going to step out of my comfort zone and do a little bit higher than I normally do. For the cross country I am a back runner with Claudia for the year twos. Today some of the year sevens and eights ran down to willams park up the hill down the zigzag back up to the corner jogged down and ran back to school!!!!!!!!!!! My mum was really proud of me when I told her I am proud of myself too because I really wanted to step out and try a little bit more.I can't wait till the real cross country I really can't wait!!!.

Birthday Time!!!!

A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday and I was really excited. I woke up in the morning and jumped on my parents bed and open my first present it was a twenty dollar topup for my cellphone next present was some tan boots they were really nice and lastly but not least was a STREET SURFER I keeped on asking my mum and dad for one for ages and I finally got it. Then I went to school everyone wanted to go on it and try it out. After school I went to Anne Harris and I got evey maths promblem right YAY!!!!. That night my grandparents came round for dinner they got me a charm to go on my charm bracelet. And finally my brothers got my present first of all James got some more then I suspect and Matthew got me $20 for Westfield. Next big thing is my party I wonder what presents I will be getting. I am really happy with how my birthday went I hope next year will be even better!!!!

Books Books Books!

This year i have started to read Parvana by Deborah Ellis. It is a very moving story,it makes me realise how lucky i am.I would recommend it to others to read in the class.

2nd week of school

Second week of school and Im loving it. My class is awesome and Mrs Mills Smith is good. Cant wait for Mr Eames to get back in action and hear about Toby.
It was fun catching the bus to Wainui and learning about sewing. I am going to make a denim pencil case for my Grandad.
At lunch time we played cops and robbers with some of the year 8 girls.
Looking foward to another day at school tommorrow.

2009 has been a blast for me, my teacher has been brillant and my class has been great. It's going to be hard saying goodbye to my class mates who are leaving Muritai. We have completed many activities these include a camp, EOTC week ,swimming,cross country and much much more.I wish all my class mates the very best for next year. Thank you Mrs MacPherson for teaching me.
