Holidays!!!!

WOW term Two is over and it is the HOLIDAYS NOW and I am very excited because I am doing a netball holiday program with my best friend Maddy for three days and I am also going to Auckland with my mum.

Term One Evaluation

This term is my first term at intermediate and it was a rollercoster. We have managed to do lots in just nine weeks. I have really enjoyed being over the road and being with my classmates. I have been working really hard and striving to succeed, I am loving 2010 and i hope to achieve lots.
This term has whized by,however this term has been a fantastic term. We have been doing lots of cool activities like Technicraft , EnviroSchool, and PAL. In Technicraft I’ve been doing sewing but now i do science. For EnviroSchool I really want to do some gardening and beach clean ups with our buddies. And I can’t wait to do PAL with the younger kids.
So far this term I have achieved alot. I am proud to be a year seven this year I really want to show my responsbilty to the younger children. Some things I have achieved in this are inquiry and writing better reports. What a supreme term.
Next term, is the working term I am looking forward to and achieving more than term one. My goals next term are my punctuation and updating my blog every week.

Term Two Evaluation

WOW, what an amazing term it has been. We have managed to fit so much in such a little time. I have done a lot of work and I am very proud of it.
This term, our main idea was doing our science fairs we did it for about a term. My science fair was on “lemon power” I was very proud of the work I did on my science fair and it was very exciting to.
This term my achievements have been at a high standard, LOL !! Just jokes. I am so amazed with what I am achieving. This term we have been training for cross country my fastest time was 9.40 I was over the moon with that score because I am not really a confident runner. This term we also did a visit to the carter observatory to learn about our solar system and other planets it was a very fun day TEE HEE!!
For Technicraft I am in wood work and we have just finished making our name blocks and now working on our mug trees I am making my mug tree for my auntie I know she will be very proud of it. We have also done arts program I really enjoyed Hip Hop mainly because I do it.
I hope next term I will achieve more than term one and term two. I wonder if term three will go swimming by ( Hopefully it will!!)

Cross Country

This term we have started training for cross country. This year I going to step out of my comfort zone and do a little bit higher than I normally do. For the cross country I am a back runner with Claudia for the year twos. Today some of the year sevens and eights ran down to willams park up the hill down the zigzag back up to the corner jogged down and ran back to school!!!!!!!!!!! My mum was really proud of me when I told her I am proud of myself too because I really wanted to step out and try a little bit more.I can't wait till the real cross country I really can't wait!!!.

Birthday Time!!!!

A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday and I was really excited. I woke up in the morning and jumped on my parents bed and open my first present it was a twenty dollar topup for my cellphone next present was some tan boots they were really nice and lastly but not least was a STREET SURFER I keeped on asking my mum and dad for one for ages and I finally got it. Then I went to school everyone wanted to go on it and try it out. After school I went to Anne Harris and I got evey maths promblem right YAY!!!!. That night my grandparents came round for dinner they got me a charm to go on my charm bracelet. And finally my brothers got my present first of all James got some more then I suspect and Matthew got me $20 for Westfield. Next big thing is my party I wonder what presents I will be getting. I am really happy with how my birthday went I hope next year will be even better!!!!

Books Books Books!

This year i have started to read Parvana by Deborah Ellis. It is a very moving story,it makes me realise how lucky i am.I would recommend it to others to read in the class.

2nd week of school

Second week of school and Im loving it. My class is awesome and Mrs Mills Smith is good. Cant wait for Mr Eames to get back in action and hear about Toby.
It was fun catching the bus to Wainui and learning about sewing. I am going to make a denim pencil case for my Grandad.
At lunch time we played cops and robbers with some of the year 8 girls.
Looking foward to another day at school tommorrow.
